The U. S. Supreme Court has ruled in Plyler v. Doe that undocumented children and documented immigrant children have the same right to attend public primary and secondary public schools as do US citizens and permanent residents. This includes children seeking asylum or whose parents are seeking asylum in the United States, as well as all children in the US with refugee status. (Children with F-1 visas are not included).
