Documentation by Country

Documenting the human rights abuses and country conditions in countries from which asylum-seekers have fled is very time-consuming for attorneys and human rights advocates.  RLC is making certain indexes of documentation suitable for submission to INS available at this web site, specifically for use in representing asylum-seekers in their asylum claims for use by advocates and attorneys.   RLC also provides annotated versions of these (and other)  indexes at cost, along with hard copies of the listed documentation (at duplicating and handling cost). The annotated lists are available on disk to allow advocates to modify the information according to their specific cases. Please contact us for ordering information.

Currently RLC offers documentation packets for the following countries: Algeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan and Uganda.
