All students who have been granted asylum in the United States or who entered the United States with refugee status are eligible to apply for financial aid as eligible noncitizens. They, as well as persons permanent residents, “persons paroled into the US indefinitely for humanitarian reasons”, Cuban-Haitian Entrants are all categorically eligible to apply for federal financial aid.
